Little Bits of Heaven is owned and operated by Antonio and Maribel Flores.  They have been married for over 13 years and have two children:  Anabel (6 years old) and Abigail Flores (5 years old).

 

Maribel was born in Brawley, California, but was raised in El Centro, California.  Maribel graduated from El Centro Union High School and majored in mathematics in college.  In 2002, she received Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Savior and began serving Him in various ways.  

 

In 2003 Maribel and Antonio, who were volunteering at a soup kitchen feeding the homeless at Christ Community Church, met each other for the first time.  Unable to resist each other, they instantly fell in love.  In November 2004, they were wed at Grace and Truth Fellowship in Brawley where they still fellowship today.  

 

Maribel and Antonio begain working at Brawley Christian Academy in 2003 and have continued there until recently.  Maribel worked as a 3rd grade teacher and Antonio worked as a 7th grade teacher for 6 years, and Principal for 6 years.  In May 2010, the Lord blessed them with their first child, Anabel.  And in May 2011, the Lord blessed them with their 2nd child, Abigail.  Being moved in her heart to focus on raising their children, Maribel retired from teaching at Brawley Christian Academy.

 

Knowing that an additional source of income was necessary, the Lord guided and made the provision that Maribel would be able to care for her children at home while at the same time work for Him by using the gifts of teaching that he had blessed her with.  After much prayer and preparation, Little Bits of Heaven Preschool began.

 

Maribel's excellent reputation and esteem with families throughout the Imperial Valley have accredited her to being a loving dear sister in Christ with a gifted heart for children.
